The Flight Phantom's body is made of solid acacia. Acacia is a wood with a long tradition of ukulele construction due to its punch, volume, and tone. Flight use only the highest-grade acacia for the Royal sequence, which sounds as beautiful as it seems. When playing, the African Mahogany neck offers stability, a warm tone, and a smooth feel. The Flight Phantom features an Ebony fingerboard that is a rich, thick hardwood, considered as the world's most expensive wood. The Phantom comes with an ebony bridge, a bone nut, and a paid saddle. Compensated saddles not only look cool but also increase playability by properly aligning each string's intonation for the best sound and output.
