The laminated Sapele sets up the Flight NUS380 Amber Soprano Ukulele. Sapele is a medium hardwood native to tropical Africa that varies in colour from golden to dark reddish-brown. Flight wadded a lovely finish to give it a unique and striking appearance. The grain is interlocked and has a uniform shape with a strong natural luster, making it a close relative to mahogany. The arched back of this ukulele strengthens and concentrates its natural resonance, resulting in a simple and bright tone. The rosettes on all of our ukuleles are hand-drawn and laser-engraved.

The neck and fingerboard are made from African okoume and walnut. It’s a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well.
