The Flight NUS380 Jade is made of Sapele laminate. Sapele is a medium, golden to dark reddish-brown hardwood native to tropical Africa. The Flight added a cool finish to give it a special and striking appearance. The grain is interlocked and has a smooth surface with a strong natural luster, making it a close relative to mahogany. The arched back of this ukulele strengthens and concentrates its natural resonance, resulting in a simple and bright tone. The rosettes on all of our ukuleles are hand-drawn and laser-engraved.

African okoume and walnut were used to make the neck and fingerboard. It is a fantastic combination that ensures consistent intonation around the fretboard, is easy on the fingertips, and looks amazing.
