The NUC200 is the perfect beginner’s ukulele. It has a beautiful laminated Teak finish. The neck is made from locally sourced Meranti with a nandu fretboard which Flight has built with a nut width of 38mm to bring you more space and comfort when learning those new chords.

The NUC200's body comprises of laminated teak wood. The laminate woods produce a marvelous sound with delicate power that expedites to make beautiful-sounding ukuleles for a fair price. Teak is a sturdy, commonly used wood that is used in boat construction and furniture. It has the same punch, colour, and volume as mahogany, but with a burnt gold finish. You will love it so much that you can't take your eyes off of it.

Many modern ukuleles have a nut diameter of 35mm. Flight designers have produced a concert ukulele with a 38mm nut by thinking beyond the case. This allows fingers of all shapes and sizes to form chords, enhancing the instrument's comfort and playability. While we are on the subject of the fretboard, it is made of nandu, an Indonesian wood. Meranti, a wood similar to mahogany that is simple to work with and stable. The neck features Meranti wood. The nature of our headstock is an important aspect of our identity.
