The NUS350 DC Flight consists of Sapele laminate. Sapele is a light tropical African hardwood with a golden to dark reddish-brown colour. A close relative to mahogany, the grain is interlocked and has a uniform texture and a strong natural lust. Its natural resonance is enhanced and concentrated by the arched back of the NUS350, giving a strong and vivid tone. The sketches are hand-drawn and laser-graved for all our ukuleles. NUS350 is made of African okoume and walnut on the neck and fingerboard. This is a perfect combination that ensures a steady intonation throughout the fretboard, it is delicate in the hands and still looks great. The nut may appear tiny but plays a vital role in the sound quality of an instrument. The NUS350 Dreamcatcher Soprano's nut and saddle are made from bone. This is just one thing that is very unique about this ukulele.
