UC35 is made of linden wood

The UC35 is made from linden wood, a popular type of wood for making electric guitar bodies. Linden is also known as lime or basswood in North America. The wood is used for guitars and other instruments, and is also popular for carving. Its flowers and volatile oils have medicinal uses, including for sedation, anxiety, and stomach problems.  Linden trees are considered ancient and can live up to 2,000 years old. One example is the Nuremberg Linden courtyard tree, which was planted in the early 1000s by Empress Cunigunde. Linden trees evolved on Earth over 70 million years ago. There are fossils of linden trees found in North Siberia, Spitsbergen, and the Chukotka Peninsula.
