Due to its larger size, TUC40 results in a larger sound. For the soundboard, the TUC40 uses linden wood. Linden's vivid tone is distinctive. The TUC40 GD MANDALA is a beautiful Mandala Wood printed on a black soundboard and is fitted with gold geometric designs.

This ukulele is made of ABS plastic in its neck and fingerboard. It is resistant and quick to clean and preserve to changes in climate conditions. With any of our Travel series, you will never perceive a harsh fret or bent neck. The surface of the ABS neck is wooden, providing a stronger touch than plastic.

A zero fret with a distinctive bridge structure holds the movement of the string low and the intonation low. When you play ukulele it could slip the rounded back of the flight concert Travel Ukulele. A strap button was added to the ukulele to fix this issue, allowing you to add a strap. Flight provides a selection of nice straps for a good price.
