In the Flight TUS35 ABS Travel Ukulele Yellow, the fingerboard and neck are made of ABS plastic. Due to its weather-resistant characteristics, it is a great solution for entry-level ukuleles. Our Travel ukuleles have always been built without sharp frets or bent necks. The wood pattern is imitated on the neck surface to prevent a cheap plastic feeling.

In combination with the zero frets, this bridge construction ensures that the string action is low and the intonation is perfect. The plastic will never move on the saddle, so no additional work is necessary to maintain it. Flight replaced the bridge in 2019 with a stronger model but kept the saddle uncompensated. Flight uke headstocks are integral to its identity. TUS35's headstock veneer is made of linden and matches the top's color. Every Flight ukulele is equipped with tuners that stay in tune through a carefully designed headstock.
