To enhance projection and bass response, Java ukuleles have an arched back and Canadian Nubone bridge saddles. In addition to the tenor's deeper sound than its soprano counterpart, the Mahalo Java tenor ukulele features a built-in B-band and an EQ to boost the natural tone. Also, Aquila strings are fitted with fittings that produce a more full, rich, and balanced sound.
