Makala MK-8 Tenor 8 String Ukulele

The Makala MK-8 is an affordable 8-string tenor size ukulele. A superb value instrument giving players access to a unique take on the ever popular instrument.

A regular Tenor ukulele is tuned GCEA (re-entrant tuning, with a high G). The Makala MK-8 is tuned the same but strings G and D have an additional octave strings whilst strings E and A have addtional strings tuned in unison. The 8-string ukulele gives a fuller tone and would be a great addition to any ukulele player's arsenal.

The instrument itself is built with a mahogany body that is married to a mahogany neck topped with a walnut fingerboard.
